Hurricane Ida Relief Efforts

In the moments immediately following Hurricane Ida we were told the city of New Orleans would be without power for an unknowable amount of time. We saw very unfortunate people emerging and an overall sense of panic overtook the city. Our most trusted clients were asking if we could check on their homes and empty their freezers if accessible. Soon we found ourselves with 15 ice chests of very high quality food, a generator, and a team of unemployed people wanting to help. In the 5 days following the storm our production cooked and distributed over 2000 meals across the New Orleans Metro area, and raised over $10,000 which was donated with our surplus supplies to other more effected parts of Louisiana.
